D3TX CORE

The full guide

Everything the app does, page by page. Start at the top the first time; come back to a section when you need it.

D3TX CORE · GUIDE1 · What D3TX CORE is

One app for controller and for mouse and keyboard. It sits between your input and the game: reads your pad or mouse, applies the mods you switched on, and hands the result to the game as a normal controller or normal mouse movement.

  • Every game, one engine. Pick a game, pick a profile, the rest follows.
  • Profiles switch themselves when you alt-tab between games.
  • 57 mods including anti recoil, rapid fire, drop shot, peek shot, slide cancel, auto reload, turbo.
  • Macro recorder and editor with built in patterns.
  • In game hotkeys and an on screen readout, so you never leave the match to change something.
  • Updates install themselves.

Windows 10 or 11. One licence, one PC.

D3TX CORE · GUIDE2 · Install and sign in

  • Join on Patreon: monthly at https://www.patreon.com/checkout/D3txServices?rid=29685771 or yearly at half price at https://www.patreon.com/checkout/D3txServices?rid=29685771&cadence=12&is_free_trial=false
  • Download from https://d3tx.services/core/download: sign in with the same Patreon account and the installer starts.
  • Open the app. Home page → SIGN IN WITH PATREON. Approve in the browser and come back; the app picks it up by itself.
  • Run the app as administrator (right click → Run as administrator, or set it in Properties → Compatibility), and set your game to windowed fullscreen, not exclusive fullscreen. Exclusive fullscreen can block the mods from reaching the game.
  • Controller users: the System page shows two components, the virtual pad and the device shield. Install both when asked. They are free, signed drivers and take a few seconds.
  • Mouse and keyboard users: no drivers. Nothing to install.
  • The first time setup wizard walks through theme, sounds, your input mode and Discord. You can re-run it from the System page any time.

Your licence is tied to this PC. Moving to a new machine: sign out on the old one first (Home page → SIGN OUT), then sign in on the new one.

D3TX CORE · GUIDE3 · Home page

The overview and the account.

  • Active profile card: game, profile, mode, and the headline numbers (vertical pull, horizontal, ramp).
  • Engine card: START ENGINE and the MODS master switch. The engine must be running and MODS on for anything to happen. The status line at the bottom left tells you the state: STOPPED, ARMED, FIRING, or why mods are held.
  • Account: who is signed in, tier, membership and the re-check date. A countdown appears when a renewal is due.
  • Discord: LINK DISCORD ties your Discord to the licence and gives you the member role in the server.
  • Where this licence is signed in: every machine that has used it. SIGN OUT ELSEWHERE ends all others at once. A machine you do not recognise means the account is being shared.
  • Cloud sync: keep your profiles, per game setup and macros on your licence so a reinstall or new PC gets them back. Newest copy wins.
  • Message from D3TX: notices from support land here.

D3TX CORE · GUIDE4 · Library: games, profiles and packs

The Library holds a pack for every supported game, plus Universal for anything else.

  • Auto switch: with it on, the app changes game, profile and input mode by itself when a known game comes to the front. If your game is not recognised, press DETECT EXE with the game running and pick its process.
  • Profiles: each game has controller profiles and mouse profiles, usually one per weapon class. Official profiles are tuned by us; pressing SAVE on a tuned official profile forks it into your own copy, so the original is never lost.
  • NEW, RENAME, DUPLICATE, DELETE, COMPARE: manage your own. COMPARE puts two side by side.
  • Mode memory: the app remembers which mode (pad or mouse) you last used per game.
  • Share codes: COPY CODE puts a short code on the clipboard; IMPORT reads one. Codes are short while signed in and long, offline, otherwise. Export a whole game as a pack file to hand to a friend.
  • Pack updates arrive on their own. A notice tells you when a game's official profiles were re-tuned after a patch.

D3TX CORE · GUIDE5 · Tuning: anti recoil

Pulls your aim down while you fire so the spray stays on target. The profile sets the numbers; you can override them per profile.

  • Vertical pull: how hard the aim is pulled down per tick. Higher for guns that climb more.
  • Horizontal: sideways drift, positive right, negative left, for guns that kick to one side.
  • Game deadzone (pad only): the right stick deadzone set inside the game, default 20%. The pull is pushed past it so the game always sees it. Recoil feels weak on pad → raise it to match the game. Aim creeps during a spray with no recoil → lower it.
  • Ramp: start weaker and build to full pull over the first shots, the way real recoil builds. Ramp start is where it begins, ramp time how long to full.
  • Decay: ease the pull off later in the magazine for guns that settle. Start, fade and the level it settles at.
  • Sens scale: scales the whole pull to your in game sensitivity. Higher sens needs less pull.
  • Humanize: a little random variation every tick so the pattern never repeats.
  • Hip fire pull: how much pull you get when firing from the hip, as a share of the aimed pull. 0 keeps anti recoil to aimed fire only.

Only act while aiming (Activation card) limits everything to when the aim trigger is held.

D3TX CORE · GUIDE6 · Tuning: activation, stick shaping, rapid fire

Activation

  • Only act while aiming: mods run only with the aim trigger held. Off, they run whenever you fire.
  • Trigger threshold: how far the trigger must be pressed to count as firing, out of 255.
  • Desktop lock (optional, off by default): mods stay dead unless a Library game is the foreground window. Handy if you chat between matches. If your game is not in the Library, add it with DETECT EXE first or the mods will look broken.

Right stick shaping (pad)

  • Dead zone: movement inside this radius is ignored. Raise it if the stick drifts at rest; the red ring on the Live page shows it. CALIBRATE on the Live page measures drift for you.
  • Curve: under 1 is faster near the centre, over 1 is finer near the centre and quicker at the edge.
  • Sensitivity: multiplies stick output.

Rapid fire

  • Taps the trigger for you while you hold it, for semi auto weapons. Cycle time is one press and release; too low and the game drops shots.

Mouse setup (mouse mode)

  • Your DPI and in game sensitivity, and the values the profile was tuned at. Shared mouse profiles are rescaled to yours automatically.

D3TX CORE · GUIDE7 · Game mods

Switch any of these on per game in the Tuning page, and bind them to a button on the Controls page. Each has one setting, usually a timing.

Firing: Drop shot · Crouch while firing · Auto aim down sights · Tap to aim · Auto hold breath · Quick scope · Auto mount · Trigger spam · Burst fire · Jitter · Shot timing Cancels: Reload cancel · Melee cancel · Slide cancel · Sprint after slide · Slide on back Movement: Bunny hop · Crouch spam · Auto sprint · Auto tactical sprint · Auto run · Sprint after vault · Slide after vault · Lean spam · Dive to prone · Counter strafe · Circle strafe · Strafe shot · Jump shot Aim patterns: Micro sway · Aim shake · Aim spiral · Aim polar. These move the stick in a small pattern while you aim. They do not find targets. Gun swap tracking: pressing swap weapon flips between your last two profiles, so recoil follows the gun in your hands. Pick primary, then secondary, once. Objective: Plant hold, one tap holds use for a whole plant, defuse or hijack Peek: Peek shot left · Peek shot right · Peek shot both ways Utility: Auto reload · Melee spam · Interact spam · Auto throttle · Anti afk Turbo: Turbo A · Turbo B · Turbo X · Turbo Y · Turbo right bumper Sports: Free throw timing · Layup timing · Dribble spam · Pump fake · Spin move · Auto turbo · Skill move spam · Finesse timing · Block on release

Not every mod suits every game; the pack for each game switches on the ones that make sense and hides the rest.

D3TX CORE · GUIDE8 · Macros

Record a right stick or mouse motion once, then play it back on a trigger.

  • RECORD: press, perform the motion, press again. Controller macros drive the right stick, mouse macros move the mouse.
  • Editor: the graph shows the motion; drag points to reshape it. Tools: TRIM dead air, SMOOTH jitter, RESAMPLE to 16 ms steps, INVERT the vertical axis, REVERSE, and UNDO. The numbers pane lets you edit raw steps.
  • Scale: multiply every step by a percent. 80 makes the whole motion smaller.
  • Slots: put a macro in a slot, choose its trigger (while firing, while a bound button is held, or toggle), strength, loop and invert. Several slots can run together, so a recoil pattern and a movement pattern can both play.
  • Built in patterns cover common recoil shapes and movement loops as starting points.
  • Share: COPY CODE and IMPORT, same as profiles.

Macros are saved per game with the Tuning page's SAVE.

D3TX CORE · GUIDE9 · Controls: binds and in game switching

The Controls page shows your pad, Xbox or PlayStation layout, live. Buttons light as you press them, sticks move, triggers fill.

  • Click a button on the pad to choose what it does: bind a mod or a macro slot to it. A dot on a button means something is bound there.
  • Binds fire as Guide + that button, so the game never sees the press. Hold Guide, tap the button.
  • In game switching: hold the Guide button and press the d-pad to change profile, or A to toggle mods, without leaving the game. The on screen readout confirms what changed.
  • Chords work the same way for macros.
  • Game layout: pick the layout you use in the game's own settings, Default, Tactical, Bumper Jumper, Bumper Jumper Tactical or Custom. Every mod then presses the button the action is really on, so drop shot in a Tactical layout presses the stick click. Custom lets you place each action yourself. COPY LAYOUT TO ALL GAMES puts it on every shooter in the library.
  • SAVE writes the assignments for this game.

Mouse and keyboard users bind keys on the System page under Hotkeys instead.

D3TX CORE · GUIDE10 · Live page

See exactly what the engine is doing.

  • Physical pad and Virtual pad · the game sees this, side by side. The ghost dot on the virtual pad is your real stick, so you can watch the pull being added.
  • Left stick raw, triggers and buttons.
  • Mouse and keyboard: buttons, movement, and how much the engine injected this tick.
  • Loop health: measured rate against the target (System page → LOOP), and the worst gap. Most pads report at 125 to 250 Hz. A worst gap far above the expected tick means something else on the PC is stalling the loop.
  • Pad test: RUMBLE buzzes the real pad for half a second. CALIBRATE: let go of the sticks, press it, wait three seconds; the dead zone is set to the drift it saw plus a margin.
  • The status line reads FIRING while a mod is acting, and names the reason when mods are held (ARMING right after a switch, NO GAME IN FOCUS with desktop lock on).

D3TX CORE · GUIDE11 · Hybrid, mouse mode and the device shield

Modes

  • Controller: the app reads your pad and drives a virtual pad the game sees.
  • Mouse and keyboard: no virtual device. Button state is polled and the compensation is written straight out as mouse movement.
  • Hybrid (System page → LOOP): both at once. The pad drives the virtual device and the keyboard side runs its own mods underneath. Anti recoil is left to whichever side is shooting, so nothing doubles up.

Device shield (controller)

  • Hides your real pad from games so they see only the virtual one. Without it some games read both and the input doubles.
  • System page → DEVICE SHIELD → SET UP registers the app; SHIELD ON hides the pad; SHIELD OFF shows it again; UNHIDE ALL releases everything. Changing the shield needs administrator rights; the app offers to relaunch elevated.

Rumble: forward the game's vibration to your real controller (System page → LOOP).

D3TX CORE · GUIDE12 · Hotkeys, readout and overlay

Hotkeys (System page): click a box, press the key. Modifiers work.

  • Toggle mods: the master switch.
  • Next / previous profile, and Swap profile: flip between the active profile and the one before it, for A/B tuning a weapon.
  • Panic: stops the engine and turns mods off at once.
  • Overlay: show or hide the readout.

On screen readout: a small themed panel over the game that shows game, profile, mode and mod state. Off, show on change, or always on, in the corner you pick. TRY IT previews it.

Window: keep the app above the game, and hide it and the readout from screen capture and streams.

Confirm bind: a hotkey that clashes with a game bind is flagged before it is saved.

D3TX CORE · GUIDE13 · System page

  • Components: driver status, install, re-check. Run the first time setup again. RESET wipes settings, sign in and every profile you made; you are offered a backup first.
  • Backup: save settings, your profiles, imported packs and macros to one file; restore puts it back.
  • Device shield: see section 11.
  • Loop: poll rate, rumble, hybrid.
  • Updates and logs: auto update looks at launch and every six hours, and never installs without asking. CHECK FOR UPDATE asks now. SEND LOGS TO SUPPORT describes a problem and sends it with the log, version, drivers and active setup, scrubbed of anything personal; PREVIEW shows the exact text first. OPEN LOGS opens the folder. Crash reports are off unless you turn them on.
  • Appearance: theme, animated backdrop, interface scale, reduce motion.
  • Sounds: switch style clicks and slider ticks. Creamy, tactile, clicky or soft, with a volume.
  • Usage: engine time, top profiles and mods on this machine.
  • About: version and licence.

D3TX CORE · GUIDE14 · Safety and privacy

Built to do nothing you did not ask for.

  • Nothing runs until you press START ENGINE, and nothing acts until MODS is on. PANIC stops everything instantly.
  • Arming delay: after a game gains focus or a profile switches, mods stay inert for a moment so a stray press does nothing.
  • Desktop lock (optional): mods only while a Library game has focus.
  • Only act while aiming keeps mods to the moments you are actually shooting.
  • Bind conflicts are flagged before they are saved.
  • Settings are sealed: a settings file edited by hand outside the app is detected and the trust fields reset.
  • Reverse engineering tools (debuggers, memory editors) on the machine block the app from running. Uninstall them to use it.
  • Your data: logs stay on your PC unless you send them, and the report is scrubbed of user name, machine name and addresses. Sign in attempts are logged with device and network details for fraud prevention.
  • One licence, one PC. Sharing an account ends in a revoked licence.

D3TX CORE · GUIDE15 · Troubleshooting and support

  • Mods do nothing: is the app running as administrator, and is the game in windowed fullscreen rather than exclusive fullscreen? Then: is the engine running and MODS on? Is the status line saying NO GAME IN FOCUS (desktop lock) or ARMING? On pad, is the device shield on so the game sees only the virtual pad?
  • Pad recoil feels weak: raise GAME DEADZONE to match the game's stick deadzone.
  • Game sees two controllers: turn the device shield on.
  • Stick drifts: Live page → CALIBRATE, or raise the dead zone.
  • Sign in says no membership: check you approved with the Patreon account that holds the membership.
  • Locked to another machine: sign out on the old PC, or ask support for a device reset with the id the app shows.
  • Update failed: download the installer fresh from the download link; it installs over the top.

Support: System page → SEND LOGS TO SUPPORT, then say what happened in the support channel. The report reaches us the moment you press send.

Stuck? System page → SEND LOGS TO SUPPORT, then ask in the Discord.
